Mildred Annette Collier
Mildred Collier, 87, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, surrounded by her sons Jeff, Randy and his wife Judy, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in Houston Texas on February 26, 1939, to parents Lucy Melma and Frederick Politz, she was the middle child of three kids, older brother Fred, of Colorado and younger sister Mary, of Washington state.
She was a true family matriarch and will be remembered for her selfless love and tireless devotion. Her ultimate joy was always family and gatherings, hugs, cooking and baking. Christmas and the holiday season were her favorite times of year, always proud of her holiday decorations and loved her angels placed all throughout the house. Although she will be greatly missed, the family is comforted in knowing she will now watch over them all as their guardian angel from heaven.
She is preceded in death by her parents and younger sister Mary, her loving husband of 58 years, Charles, and eldest son Clark.
Mildred is survived by sons Jeffrey Collier and Randall Collier; grandchildren, Christi Giroir, Casi DeLaTorre, Katlyn McAnnally, Kelsey Oranday, Amanda McAnich, and Maegan Collier; great-grandchildren Brynleigh, Kyler, Charlee, Brooklyn, Brodee, Sydney, Brittany, Ashley, Gabriella, Margaret, Hannah, Hayden, Lilly and Jordan; great-great-grandchildren Lillian, Lailah, and Lucas; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
The family held a vigil and a small private memorial gathering bedside at her passing with blessings and prayers.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests any donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, in her honor.
