Misty Lynn Barnes

July 13, 1961 - October 25, 2022

Misty Lynn Barnes, 61, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was born July 13, 1961, in Beaumont, to Dorothy Jeanette Barron Barnes and Ben Milam Barnes.

Misty was a natural performer and she loved to sing and entertain. She prided herself on being just like her daddy. She enjoyed crafts and making others laugh. Misty brightened the room when she was there, and you always knew when she was around. She was outgoing and full of life; her boisterous personality will be truly missed.

Misty is survived by her siblings, Barbara Joan Crowell of Lumberton; Brenda Marie Barnes of Lumberton; Melody Jean Wells and husband, Robert Wells, of China; Velvet Ann Kaspar and Shad Smith of Beaumont; Pastor Rick Stabile and wife, Kim Stabile of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends throughout the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Jeanette Barnes and brother-in-law, Curtis Crowell.

A Rosary for Ms. Barnes’ will be recited at 10:00 a.m., with a gathering of family and friends to follow until her Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2022, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 US-90, China. Her graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
