Morgan Lee Brooks, 35, of Nederland, died Monday, October 3, 2022. She was born October 3, 1987, in Nederland, to Jodie Lea McLaurin and Lowell David Rogers.
She is survived by her parents, Lowell Rogers and wife, Beth, of Beaumont and Jodie Rogers of Port Neches; sons, Tracen Parsley and Tallen Rogers; maternal grandparents, Sue Parsley and husband, David, of Nederland and LeRoy McLaurin and wife, Phyllis, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; paternal grandparents, Barbara and Donald Rogers of Nederland; siblings, Heather Nichols; Ryan Rogers; Abigail Rogers; and Nathan Smith; and her husband, John Brooks of Newton.
A gathering of Morgan’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
