Mylessa Janell Horn, 42, of Spurger died Monday, June 17, 2024. She was born on May 5, 1982, in Hillister, to Ruby Nell Tolar Bane and Cleo Bane.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Horn; son, Isaiah Horn of Spurger; and siblings, Chris Bane and his wife, Jackie; and Cleo Bane, III, all of Warren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nell and Cleo Bane, and brother, Troy Bane.
Mylessa’s graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Cemetery, County Road 4525, Warren, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the both of you during the days, weeks and months to come. Mylessa was such an inspiration to so many, I looked up to her in many ways. Her strength, compassion and beauty always was shining for all to see. You have one of the best guardian angels watching over you guys. Sending our hugs.
Chris I know your heart is breaking. My heart goes out to you and Isiah. Always remember the good times and she left you a beautiful son. He will always be a part of Mylissa. She was a very sweet and loving woman. She will be missed.
