Nair M. Fairley

Nair M. Fairley, 63, of Nederland, died Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born July 12, 1959, in Opelousas, Louisiana, to Beverly and William Fairley.

He enjoyed spending time at the Neches River, fishing, and watching the boats. He was always willing to help others in need, and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and pawpaw.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Colleen Fairley, of Nederland; sons, Chris Usie, of Eunice, Louisiana, Nair Matthew Fairley II and wife, Christina, of Rayford, North Carolina, and Colby Whittington and wife, Miranda, of Mauriceville; daughter, Lacey Richard and husband, Chris, of Sulphur, Louisiana; fifteen grandchildren; sister, Joan Broussard, of Vidor; brothers, Kelly Fairley, of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Billy Fairley, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Shannon Fairley; and sister, Mona Duplechain.

Mr. Fairley’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
