Nancy Guidry
Nancy Guidry, 88, of Beaumont, died Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was born on March 17, 1934, in Burkeville, to Annie Lucille Newberry Fee and Marion “Jack” Jackson Fee. Nancy retired from Bogel Sales as an office manager.
Nancy’s parents passed when she was still very young, as a result she was raised by her Aunt Mae. She loved to cook for her friends and family. Nancy was lovingly known as the neighborhood grandma. She had a passion for arts and crafts. Being known to create crafts for all the children in her life. Nancy also put together elaborate gift bags for the kids on holidays. She was a lifelong member of the PTA Association, serving as the president for a period of time. Nancy served in a service sorority and started a charity gift wrap booth for the Parkdale Mall, benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She was a huge part in her children’s and grandchildren’s life. Gran was always there for them whenever and however possible.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Guidry; children, Sherri Rinando, and her husband, Paul; Steve Guidry and his partner, Stacy Broussard; and Scott Guidry; grandchildren, Erin Culp, and her husband, Zach; Jack Guidry; and Mae Guidry; and great-grandchild, Charlotte “Charley” Rose Culp.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Yvonne Wilson; brothers, Rayford Fee; Jack Fee; Wilbur Fee; and Bob Fee; daughter-in-law, Julie Guidry; and aunt, Mae Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calder Baptist Church, 1005 North 11th Street, Beaumont, Texas 77702; or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
A gathering of Mrs. Guidry’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2022, at Broussard’s, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Haven of Rest, Beaumont.

What a precious lady! Years ago, I was fortunate to meet Nancy at our church, Calder Baptist. She and I became friends and shared a special bond. She often sent cards to numerous people, as her loving nature brought joy to others. I will miss our phone visits and her upbeat personality. Nancy exemplified the true meaning of giving.
Rest In Peace Aunt Nancy.

Nancy, was a dear friend to me and so generous with her gifts to the children of Calder Baptist Church. She always supported the children’s mission projects especially buying many outfits to go in the infant baskets created for moms in our community who needed a little extra help.. Each holiday there would be treats and holiday craft projects for the children. Her love and encouragement were appreciated. Her ministry will be greatly missed.
Nancy was a significant source of encouragement to me. She sent notes of care and encouragement about every week during the year DeAnna ( my wife) was sick and again while I was recovering from surgery. She always made me feel special at Calder Baptist Church.

Nancy made sure I got to enjoy the jambalaya she made for the adults helping with vacation Bible school.
Nancy knew I loved her and I still benefit from her love for me!

Oh, how I will miss Nancy. We often sat together at church prior to the pandemic. Always had a smile on her face and knew all of my grandchildren’s names and was so thoughtful to put together gift bags for them many times. She always had a picture of Charley that she would show while giving updates on the rest of the family.
I am so happy to have met Nancy and have the opportunity to get to know her over these last few years. I always enjoyed visiting with her.
