Nancy Marion Lang

July 27, 1958 - August 15, 2021

Nancy Lang died on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was being cared for by her treasured daughter, Victoria Lang, while she moved to enter Heaven. Victoria surrounded her with love, care, and an ability to specifically follow her mother’s wishes. Nancy was born in Karlsruhe, Germany sixty-three years ago. She has two loving sisters, Dixie and Dorothea, and other members of the Weiler family who live in Karlsruhe, Germany. Her mother, Franziska Reynolds, preceded her in death. In addition to being a tireless worker at Saladin Pump for twenty-two years, Nancy gave of her time regularly to minister to elderly friends in her life. She loved giving special dinners to that group and to her peers. If you were ever there, you remember the classy décor, the amazing food, and the fellowship. Enjoying a daily glass of wine with Frances Saladin, was her favorite pastime. All remember the “preciseness” of Nancy’s detail driven endeavors and the way she became the life of the party. Her word was honest and direct. Maybe that came from her German background. Speaking fluently to relatives from Germany and friends who also spoke German, Nancy stayed true to her culture. Many times, Victoria asked her to make German dinners for friends who had no idea what to expect. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Victoria Lang and Travis Brocato.

A gathering of Mrs. Lang’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

So sorry to just learn of Nancy passing. I worked w her in the consulting engineering business, she did a precise job and knew how to keep me straight w all the documents she mothered and continued enjoying chatting and her humor at Saladin. I could tell that the sun rose and sat on her daughter. She was a joy to know. David

With sincere sympathy for our loved aunt Nancy.
We hope these comforting words will help quite your mind, soothe your heart and ease your soul.

When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a tresure. Cause our loved ones will always be by our side, no matter where they are. And at the end, all that stays is gratitude and love for every day we had together. Cause the only thing that separates us is the time. Time from when we said goodbye to the time we’ll be together again.

We will miss you very much and would have liked to see you more often.

We all stay together and give each other comfort.
With love and memories, your nieces and your nephew.

I often think back to visiting you in Beaumont.
I was very of impressed what you were able to manage alone.
Victoria can be really proud of her mother.
Sadly you couldn’t enjoy your long-awaited retirement.
What a pity! – I would have loved a visit in Germany from you.
I‘m sure you’re smiling from a star in heaven and look down on us to see what we‘re all doing.

Nancy – we will miss you. So enjoyed our trips together to Napa, Key West, Oregon wine country, etc. Loved your company and friendship – loved your friendship with my mother, Frances and father, John. You will truly be missed. Way too soon to go.

I had the pleasure of working with Nancy many years ago in Engineering. Truly blessed to have known her. I send my sincere condolences in the loss of your mom. I pray that God will comfort you in the days ahead.

I was Blessed to have known Nancy for the last 7 years; working with her and developing a friendship and sharing our love for fine dining and preparing fine food. She was always so stong and independant and never let anything get her down. Knowing that she was a stong lady of faith I know right where she’s at and when the day comes for me I know Nancy will be right there waiting with a charcuterie board and telling me “well it’s about time you got here!”
    Miss ya Nancy……..

    Iris Stanfield says:

Nancy Lang left us too soon, but what an impact she had upon this earth. My heart felt condolences to Victoria (Tori) Nancy’s beloved daughter. You will be missed so much dear friend, but I know there is rejoicing in Heaven by family and friends gone before. Nancy was a wonderful person and my friend from the day I met her.
