Nancy Rinando Cunningham
Nancy Rinando Cunningham, age 83, of Beaumont, Texas, passed on to her eternal rest on October 12, 2024, at Brookdale Memory Care in Pearland, Texas. Born May 5,1941, she was the 3rd child and only daughter of Concetta and Joesph Samuel Rinando, Sr.
She graduated from St Anthony High School. She then attended Lamar University for a year until becoming employed at Gulf States Utilities. Shortly after beginning work there, the empty desk next to her would be occupied by a new employee named Ronald, who would soon become her husband. Nancy and Ron were married November 3, 1963.
Nancy stayed home to raise their 2 children until going back to work for Beaumont ISD, where she met wonderful friends.
She loved spending time with family and friends, going out to eat and to movies- always with plenty of popcorn and a coke! She was a fun and adventurous Mim and loved her time with her grandkids especially on the annual trips to the beach and when each would get their own week at Camp Cunningham.
She and Ron enjoyed traveling the world together with friends. Some of her favorite trips were to Alaska, Italy, Hawaii and Israel.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Ronald Cunningham; daughter Vicki (Kevin) McGovern; grandsons, Cade (Sarah) McGovern, Ryan McGovern and Jace McGovern; daughter-in-law, Heather Cunningham Brown; and beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Concetta and Joseph Rinando. Sr; brothers, Vincent Rinando, Frank Rinando, Joseph Rinando, Jr.; and her son, Darrell Cunningham.
Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Mim. Her generous heart, sarcastic wit and contagious laughter will be so missed and treasured. We are so thankful for the gift of her life and the love she gave us.

So sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family
We have wonderful memories of traveling and being with Nancy and Ronnie. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Ronnie, Vickie and family . Have such good memories of Nancy and you all. She was one of my first friends when we moved to Beaumont. I treasure those years and all the kids’ birthday parties when they were only babies. Good GSU memories too. Condolences from all the Gerac, Chiquette and Coco family. God’s blessings and graces for Nancy and all who love her.
Nancy and her family were our neighbors and we attended twelve years of school together. I have a picture of us along with Darragh and Shelby Fertitta hanging on my wall on the day we made our first Communion. I treasure it along with Nancy’s sweet memory. Sincere condolences to her family and may she rest in peace. Rita Baker Wallace

Ronnie, Vickie and all the Family,
Nancy was one special lady. I always enjoyed her presence. There were so many times that we sat at the same table, either at KC functions or YMBL events. Had a lot in common… old St. Anthony High School and later Kelly High with our daughters, Widman School of Dance. Just a lot of memories. Prayers for all of you and God bless.
Ronnie and family, our condolences to all of you. Nancy was truly a special lady, smiles and joy fir those she met. May GOD comfort your hearts.
