Nathaniel “Ricky” Thomas
Nathaniel “Ricky” Thomas, of Stowell, died Friday March 28, 2025. He was born December 11, 1968, in Winnie, to Nathaniel Thomas, Sr., and Virgie Mae Thomas.
He is survived by his father, Nathaniel Thomas, Sr.; sons, Terrence James and his wife, Amber, of Anahuac and Andrus James and his wife Lahoma, of Winnie; daughters, Brittany Nelson of Baton Rouge and Natalie Thomas of Galveston; brothers, Patrick Thomas and Leroy Powell, of Stowell; and Donnel Haskins and his wife, Lolita of Anahuac; nephews, Jeremey Nobles; Johntay Powell; Leroy Powell, Jr.; Hendrick Gibbons and his wife, Katie; Euric Gibbons; Dayton Foster; and Colton Williams and his wife, Destiney; nieces, Laprecious Powell; Latoya Michael and her husband, Preston; Morrissa Powell; Nekayeh Thomas; Dalana Charlot: Tyra Haskins; Kayltnn Battle; and Artasia Haskins; and numerous other family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Virgie Mae Thomas; brother, Paul Powell; and sister, Brenda “Ann” Gibbons.
A funeral service for Mr. Thomas will be 2:00 p.m., April 12, 2025, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
