Neil Schrader

February 13, 1926 - February 20, 2021

Neil Schrader, 95, of Beaumont, died Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was born on February 13, 1926 to Anna Mathis Schrader and Ward Schrader in Utica, New York.

Survivors include his son, Neil Schrader and his wife, Cynthia, of Vidor; grandchildren, Selena Bridges and her husband, William, of Vidor and Diana Denise Broxson and her husband, Cory, of DeQuincy, Louisiana; great-grandchildren, Gracie Bridges, Noah Broxson, and Briana Broxson; and sister-in-law, Mary Stinebrickner, of Beaumont.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sally Marie Schrader and sister, Phyllis O’Donnell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., February 24, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, followed by his interment at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Texas Food Bank, 3845 South Martin Luther King Junior Parkway, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

I recall how well Neil lovingly cared for Sally. I hope his later years were in good health. May his soul live in eternal joy. I shall remember him at Mass.
