Nelda Jean Marks

Nelda Jean Marks, 82, of Buna, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022.  She was born on January 16, 1940, in Wharton, to Lucille Strawther Gregory and Curtis Gregory.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin Marks; children, Don Crosson of Buna; Paula Sonnier and her husband, David, of Silsbee; and Stuart Marks and his wife, Lisa, of Pineland; grandchildren, Don Crosson III of Huntsville, Douglas Crosson, Jr. and Melissa Jordan, both of Silsbee, Sonny Linnus of Montgomery, Aarran Crosson of Dayton, Dustin Crosson, Emilea Crosson, Matt Marks, and Tiayali Parish, all of Buna, Keith Johnson of Beaumont, and Steven Steed of Silsbee; and great-grandchildren, Shelby Crosson and Bryce Jordan, both of Silsbee, Haven Crosson of Montgomery, Abigail Crosson of Silsbee, Don Crosson, IV and Daxton Crosson, both of Huntsville, Cooper Crosson and Rylea Crosson, both of Buna, Devon Crosson of Huntsville, Kaden and Dawson Steed of Silsbee, and Gentry Parish of Buna.  She is preceded in death by her parents and children, Doug Crosson and Darrell Crosson.

Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
