Nell Rose Pitts
Nell Rose Pitts, 81, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born on August 27, 1941, in Sherwood, Tennessee, to Vina Guess Sutton and Eulis Sutton.
Nell retired from Wal-Mart after over forty years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Silsbee and owned her own fireworks stand. She loved traveling in her motor home and will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her son, Ron Pitts and his wife, Stephanie, of Silsbee; daughter, Pamela Johnson and her husband, Gilbert, III, of Milliken, Colorado; grandchildren, Amber Pattarozzi and her husband, Terry; Gilbert Johnson, IV and his wife, Amber; James Pitts and his wife, Brandi; Jason Johnson and his wife, Jacquelyn; Steven Pitts and his wife, Hannah; and Ashley McCright and her husband, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Chelsea and her fiancé, McKenan, Anthony, Addison, Olivia, R.J., Avery, Abigayl, Gracie, Savannah, Ella, Elizabeth, Madison, Sarah, and Matthew, Jr.; great-great-grandson, Everett; sisters, Geneva Watson and her husband, Jim, of Lumberton and Helen Miller of Silsbee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of over sixty years, James Pitts; brothers, Jack Sutton and Arthur Sutton; and sister, Sue Bridges.
A gathering of Mrs. Pitts’ family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at R.S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee.

Nell and I worked together for over 20 yrs. We have been friends for 34 yrs. She was always an inspiration to me and could always make me laugh. I am going to miss you so much my sweet friend. Fly high with Jim. Love you
I work with miss Nell for many years at Walmart. We both had been at Walmart for a long time. She was sweet and kind lady! I love her very much! I will miss her so much! She was a wonderful friend!!!
I haven’t seen Nell in years but worked with her many years at Walmart. She was a very sweet friend to all who knew her. I pray for your family, I know their hearts are so heavy. May God give them comfort .????❤️????❤️????❤️
