I worked with Libby and her daughters at CCPO for a couple of years, until I had to use that volunteer time to care for my husband until he passed 12 years ago. Libby was an inspiration to me and a true example of selflessness and love for her fellow man. Her memory will be cherished. Love and prayers to her family.
Our church has and continues to enjoy our partnership with CCPO. Libby has been such a special part of helping us to better serve the community at large through her dedicated heart for service. We will miss her, but we know she is in such a sweeter place. We lift up Libby’s family, friends, and co-workers in prayer during this difficult time. May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow and bring to mind all the wonderful memories to cherish.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this extremely difficult time. May God’s peace, comfort, and strength be with you now and in the days to come.
Sending our deepest sympathy and prayers for the families.
Libby Arnold was the first Latina President of the Rotary Club of Port Arthur. She served faithfully excelling in the principles of Rotary. Her life was an example to all and she lived our club motto of Service Before Self. Libby will be missed.
When I came home from Louisiana in 2003, I met Libby through the church and volunteered at CCPO. She had been faithful in praying for me before I even knew her. I instantly knew that our hearts were mended together. Her faith in the Lord was unwavering! She was a prayer warrior. She adored her family & friends and my life has forever been changed just by knowing her.
I will miss this remarkable woman so very much. She has been my friend for close to 40 years and has taught me so much about compassion, discernment, faith, and trusting The Lord in all things. She was so funny and never failed to make me laugh without even trying. I had the amazing privilege of working side by side with her at Community Care Prayer Outreach for many many years. Some of the best years of my life. I love you Libby! I already miss you my friend
