Olivia Marie Rogers

October 21, 2015 - March 17, 2026

We are devastated to announce the passing of Olivia Marie Rogers, 10 years young, of Beaumont, Texas.  She died unexpectedly on March 17, 2026, after a sudden illness.

She was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 2015 to Brian and Kristen Rogers. Olivia became a Texan when she and her family moved to Beaumont in 2019. She lived a blessed life and made many memories with her parents and little sister, Julia. Olivia attended China Elementary School as a thriving fourth grade student. She regularly attended Reformed Presbyterian Church and was growing in her walk with Jesus Christ. With her mother by her side, Olivia left this world. She went on to meet her Savior and live with Him for all eternity.

Olivia has been described as joyful, silly, fun-loving, tender-hearted, and kind beyond her years. Her laugh was infectious. She was a smart girl who excelled in school and carried a happiness that could brighten the entire classroom. Being a Student Council representative of her grade, Olivia was an outstanding leader. She was consistently present, dependable, and full of thoughtful ideas. She took great pride in helping others and was always eager to contribute to projects that gave back to her school and community. Her leadership, creativity, and willingness to serve made a lasting impact on those around her. She was a joy to her parents and was so very loved.  She was an outstanding big sister and a friend to many, including her dog, Duke and cat, Jack.  Olivia was determined in all she did, even through her recent illness.

Olivia was a girl of many interests such as cooking, baking, playing basketball, throwing the football with her cousins, riding bikes, swimming, playing video games, jazz dancing, roller skating around the kitchen, watching TV, performing gymnastics routines in the living room by doing flips off the mats and sofa.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed the Dork Diary series. She also loved the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. Olivia loved having sleepovers, going out to eat, and visiting all of her cousins.  She happily attended Sunday School and the fellowship lunches that followed.  Her favorite color was blue and she enjoyed playing with Squishies and slime. Her most recent ventures include learning to fish at Lakeview Campground, belting out Benson Boone lyrics at her first concert, and riding rollercoasters at her first Disney World experience. Olivia was developing her own taste in music and would regularly play songs through Alexa.  Some of her favorite songs include Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” Magic!’s “Rude,” and Forrest Frank’s “Your Way’s Better.” Olivia was also becoming a talented piano player.

As young as she was she had goals for her future, both near and far. Olivia aspired to be the fifth grade Student Council president.  Olivia also aspired to be the next Student of the Month and Dancer of the month at her dance studio, Amber Blanchard School of Dance. She loved Subway and wanted to work there when she was in high school. Olivia hoped to extend her love for animals by becoming a veterinarian when she grew up. She was looking forward to her second summer at Camp Pearl and going to Toledo Bend.

Olivia is preceded in death by her father, Brian Rogers and grandfather, Johnny Allenday.

Olivia is survived by her mother, Kristen Marie Allenday Rogers; sister, Julia Noelle Rogers; grandmother, Michelle MacKenzie Allenday; grandparents, Jim and Betty Rogers; great-grandfather, Alexander MacKenzie; aunt, Lindsay Allenday Lopez; uncle, Andy Lopez; aunt, Sarah Rogers; cousins, Joscelyn Lopez, Leighton Lopez, Christian Lopez, Emma Carls, and Elizabeth Rogillio.

The immense loss of beautiful, sweet Olivia will leave a void in the lives of her family and those closest to her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her mother, Kristen, little sister, Julia, grandparents, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.  She will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Pallbearers include Andy Lopez, Richard Bellard, Jason Spell, Leighton Lopez, Christian Lopez, Lindsay Lopez, and Sarah Rogers.

A gathering of Olivia’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  An additional gathering will begin at 1:30 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Broussard’s.  Her graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at Prien Memorial Park, 2220 Country Club Road, Lake Charles, Louisiana.

“I know not where tomorrow’s road may turn my pilgrim way, I may not taste its joy or care nor see beyond today; but this I know my Father plans the path I cannot see: He knows each turn, each hill, each dale, and He will walk with me; but this I know my Savior’s love prepares my path each day, and held within His mighty hand, I need not fear the way; for this I know in God the Lord shall all my needs be met; I’ll trust tomorrow to His love, Who has not failed me yet.” Written by Margaret Clarkson

    Ann Juhala says:

Olivia was one of my daycare babies and I loved her so. Even after her family moved to Texas, I enjoyed keeping up with the pictures that Kristen would post and especially loved the recent Disney photos she shared. Nothing about this makes sense to me except the fact that I’m certain she is in heaven with Jesus now. All of these babies took a piece of my heart when they grew up and moved onto school. Olivia (Sweet Cheeks) was no exception. I will forever remember her rosy cheeks and beautiful smile. I am so thankful for all of the precious memories. Kristen and Julia, I am so very sorry. There are no words that I can give to ease your pain, but just know that you are loved, prayed for and thought of often. Miss Ann loves you, Olivia. Rest easy beautiful girl.

    Heather Goleman says:

    Jim & Erett Burychka says:

Our hearts are truly broken for the whole family! She’s such a beautiful child, looks so much like her dad. Nothing we will ever go through compares to the loss of a child. I pray that you can all find some comfort in knowing she’s reunited with her dad and comforted in the arms of Jesus!

    Linda and Syd says:

Kristen, our words are inadequate, you must look to Christ and His word for the comfort you so desperately need at this time. “When we are weak, He is strong.”

We pray daily for you and your family to help you through this devastating time of loss. May God give you peace and comfort through His love and that of your family and friends.

    Mary Hebert says:

So sorry for your loss of such a beautiful child so young. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family.

    Jim and Marybeth says:

I was only blessed to know Olivia for a very short time. She took my glasses and wanted to keep them! Little stinker. She thought they were so cool. I was only able to get them back when I convinced her I wouldn’t be able to see to drive home.

At Christmas I sent Olivia, Julia and Kristen stocking stuffers. LED Raindeer antlers for the girls and a Santa Hat for Kristen. I thought they would all look very cute in a Christmas photo. Well, Olivia’s didn’t make it and Kristen confused hers for a water faucet part. In a panic to make sure Olivia wouldn’t be left out I ordered 3 more pairs of Antlers (plan B and C) and a second Santa hat overnight delivery. Well, I think they finally arrived a day after Christmas. So I ended up with 3 antlers and a Santa hat that doesn’t fit me. Forever remembered as the Christmas Antler Debacle. Love these girls.

    Elfa Humble says:

Our deepest condolences, Kristen. Keeping you in our prayers.

    Rosemary Pratt says:

Olivia was in my Sunday school class several years ago. She was quiet. Maybe a little shy. We smiled at each other a lot. When surgery caused me to miss teaching for months, the substitute, Janie, reported that Olivia asked about me and was concerned. When Olivia saw me at church after rehab, she looked up, held out her arms and gave me the first of many hugs. Trusting that Olivia is with Jesus now.

    Kit Wyatt says:

Our hearts are broken for beautiful Olivia’s family. Olivia was such a sweet person and awesome big sister to Julia. May God comfort all of you and give y’all the strength to overcome this pain. 💖

    Tessa Jacks says:

She was so smart, loved, and incredibly her own unique self. She always wanted to go outside, play, or learn something new. I am so grateful for the time I have gotten to keep her. I will never forget the precious time I had with her. My prayers, love and thoughts are with you, juju and your family. 🤍

    Camille Crow says:

My heart is absolutely shattered. She was dearly loved and I praise God for getting to spend a week with her this summer at Camp Pearl and getting to know her. My heart and prayers are with you, Ms. Kristen. I thank God that she is united with Him now! 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

    Sylvia Terry says:

My hear hurts and she was just an angel
On earth and loved by all

    Bryn Bryn says:

She was my best friend on the bus and was always there for people and was the most intelligent person I knew let her rest and peace
