Opaline Sheffield

Opaline Sheffield, 69, of Kountze, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024.  She was born on March 5, 1955, in Silsbee, to Addie Ard Eddings and Lee Delman Eddings.

Survivors include her children, Dewayne Hutto and his wife, Lisa, of Fred; Samuel Sheffield and his wife, Nikki, of Kountze; Josh Sheffield and his wife, Sherry, of Fred; and Brianna Snipes and her husband, Justin, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Dolton Hutto, Gage Hutto, Wayde Smith, Edward Sheffield, Julieann Sheffield, Trent Snipes, and Austin Snipes; and great-grandchild, Kutter Hutto.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Lee Eddings; and two sisters.

A gathering of Opaline’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 13, 2024, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred.
