Orval Frederick Landis, III

Orval Frederick Landis, III, loving husband and father, 82, of Kountze, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born on March 8, 1943, in Beaumont, to Clara Rust Landis and Orval Frederick Landis, II. Mr. Landis proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his loving wife, Juanita Landis; children, Richard Landis and his wife, Sue, of Blossom; Amanda Landis of Kountze; and Monica Landis of Kountze; granddaughter-in-law, Monica Landry Barrow of Sulphur, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jacie Williams and her husband, Seth, of Lufkin; Hayley Winters and her husband, Cobin, of Blossom; and Jarden Alexander; Parker Ray; Sydney Bazinet and her fiancé, Devin; and Makenna Bazinet, all of Kountze; sixteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, Martha Winter; Wilma Langston and her husband, Robert; and Johnny Landis and his wife, Becky, all of Kountze. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Owen Landis and Rhett Barrow, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Blake Alexander, Noah Morse and Braxton Barrow; and sisters, Margaret Robertson and Dorothy Glaze.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
