Orval Leroy Hanson
December 19, 1942 - February 7, 2026
Orval Leroy Hanson, 83, of Beaumont died Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1942, in Cando, North Dakota to Mary Keifer and Orval Manual Hanson.
Orval was a mechanical engineer, farmer in Spurger, Texas, and an insurance adjuster. He was an adventurous traveler. Orval will be remembered as a loving husband, and father.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Hanson and daughter, Heather Hanson Koonce and her husband, David.
Orval is preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Hanson; and brother, Bill Hanson.
Cremation arrangements for Mr. Hanson were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
