Patricia Ann DeVillier

Patricia Ann DeVillier, 62, of Groves, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born on November 13, 1958, in Port Arthur, to Lela Faul Touchet and Leander Touchet, Sr.

Patricia was very strong in her faith. She was a devoted Catholic and loved praying the Rosary. Patricia was an amazing cook, especially comfort foods. She loved dancing and could not sit still. She would travel with her husband of forty-two years all around to festivals to dance. Patricia also enjoyed working in her flower beds. Most important to her, were her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Jessica Allen and her husband, Mike, of Bridge City; Kasie Resweber and her husband, Daniel, of Groves; and Brandon DeVillier; grandchildren, Angel, John, Natalye, Azalie, Michelle, Lily, Eli, Leander, Atticus, and Wyatt; brothers, Leander Touchet, Jr. and Ben Touchet; daughter-in-law, Brittney Kitchell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Louis Joseph DeVillier.

A gathering of Mrs. DeVillier’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
