Patricia Ann Lopez

April 20, 1940 - February 22, 2023

Patricia Lopez, 82 of Beaumont, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. She was born April 20, 1940, in Camden, Tx to George Clinton “Bud” and Alma Angelo Jackson.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Robichau, and her husband Rodney; daughter, Niki Dillon, and her husband Michael; sister, Jo Vick; step-son Timothy Lopez, and his wife Betty; grandchildren, Justin O’Neill, Blake Busceme, Alisha Bean, and her husband Justin, Krista Musquiz, and her husband Michael, Talia Adili, Jena Adili, and Jaden Tanner; step-grandchildren, Abby Keen, and her husband Max, Ross Robichau and his wife Darby; great grandchildren, Carrington Bell-Busceme, Oliver Keen, Palmer Keen, Marleigh Robichau, Reid Robichau, Riley Robichau, Brach Ross, Sophia Bean, Ezra Bean, Drew Musquiz, Logan Musquiz; niece, Alma Lynn Rash; nephew, Kenny Vick; great niece, Brooke Toups; great nephew Christopher Wall and his daughter Ella Wall; lifelong friends, Sara Lake and her husband Jeff: and numerous other beloved family members.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, stepdad, Jesse Revia, grandparents, Thomas and Lula Jackson, husband, Kenneth Lopez, brother, George Jackson, Jr., brother-in-law, Gerald Vick, daughter, Donna Musick, and great nephew, Erik Toups.

From an early age, Pat was known for her contagious laughter, especially at her own jokes. She enjoyed participating in choir, sports, and other school events. She was voted “Maypole Queen” in 5th grade and named “Miss Wit” her senior year at French High School in 1958. She continued her education at Lamar University and began her career as one of the first employees at First National Bank. Pat later turned in her heels for a hard hat and boots to work as a teamster in the local union at chemical plants. She chose her final career out of passion and served for 20+ years at the Texas Attorney General’s Office as an Enforcement Officer.

Pat loved to dance, and that’s where she met the love of her life, Ken. She also enjoyed collecting recipes for food she never made, and gardening, which included telling Ken what to plant and when to pick the tomatoes and lemons. She was a strong, independent woman of few words, and only had to raise an eyebrow to get her point across. She loved her daily phone calls with family and friends and keeping everyone aware of current weather conditions. Pat and Ken were members of St. Pius Catholic Church. They enjoyed the friendships they made along the way and especially cousins’ night out.

Special thanks to Nani’s caregivers, Patricia Powell, Joyce Baker, Patricia Childs, Barbara Overton, and Turner Ferguson. The family would also like to thank Dr. Shaik, Dr. John and all our friends at Fresenius Kidney Care. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Bhatt, Carol Anderson, Amy Quinn, and Cathy Trail, for their compassionate care, over the years, like they would for their own mother.

John 14:1-3
