Patricia Elaine McKinzie Roy

Patricia Elaine McKinzie Roy, 83, of Nederland, passed on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. She was born on December 26, 1942, in Kirbyville, to Gladys Boyett and Edward McKinzie. She grew up in “Bessmay” and Jasper, Texas. She later moved to Beaumont where she attended Chenier Business College. She was a small business owner until retirement.

Patricia had an open heart and open door, from Patrick’s to Snappy’s, to her own home. She continually helped people in need, and she loved deeply. She was always willing to share or even give away anything she had. Patricia was also incredibly strong and full of resolve, and nothing could stop her from reaching her goals which always involved helping others.

She is survived by her children, Treasure Francis and her husband, Cazzy, of Nederland; Jerry Davis and his wife, Sharon, of Deweyville; stepchildren, John Roy of Silsbee; Bill Roy of Luling; Tina Roy of Ivanhoe; and grandchildren, Shelby Williams of Orange; Wyatt Upshaw of Beaumont; Skye Francis and his wife, Emily, of Beaumont; Blaize Francis and his wife, Rachel, of Beaumont; Channing Grayce Francis, of Nederland; Jennifer Denton, of Waco; Brooklyn Jordan, Kody Jordan, and Shay Moore, of Orange; Dominique Roy of Frisco; Samantha Roy, and Brittany Roy-Smith, of Groves; Pamela Loyd, of Burnet; Kara Luna, of Japan; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Gladys and Edward McKinzie; husband, James Roy; sisters, Marjorie Fagan and Jane Slater; and stepson, Danny Roy; and daughter, Sally Frances Foote.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Beaumont Health Care Center Team for their unwavering care over the past days of Mrs. Roy’s journey. She truly loved them and was truly loved.

A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2026, at Pathway Church Mid County, 2326 Nederland Avenue, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
