Patricia Kathleen “Kathy” Bailey
Kathy Bailey, 68, of Nederland, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
Kathy was born in Warren, Ohio, to George William Sesler and Barbara Lou Haney. She graduated from Harlingen High School in 1974.
Kathy had a successful and rewarding career as a pharmacist. She worked as a pharamacist for St. Elizabeth’s Pharmacy, King’s Pharmacy, and CVS Pharmacy before retiring in 2022.
Kathy was a devoted mother and beloved grandmother. Most of her retirement was spent enjoying quality time with her family, especially her granddaughters and attending all of their functions. She was always present with a bright smile and open arms. It is no wonder that her granddaughters were always excited to get to visit and stay with her.
Kathy enjoyed scrapbooking, which was only rivaled by her love of reading. She was an avid reader and had a vast collection of books.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Bailey) Boudreaux; son-in-law, Shaun Boudreaux; her granddaughters, Bailey Grace and Brynn Faith Boudreaux; her daughter, Danielle Bailey; her brother, Mike Sesler and his wife, Lynn; her brother, Robert Sesler and his wife, Mary; and her sister, Gail Thigpin and her husband, George.
Per Kathy’s request, no funeral services will be held. The family kindly asks to be given privacy during this time of great loss.
Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
The loving memories she created will live forever through her family and friends.

Sending our deepest sympathies and prayers. Michelle, Shaun and girls, praying for peace and comfort during this difficult time. Love you all!
I’m so incredibly sorry to see this. Kathy was always a bright light wherever she went. We were in the same Sunday school class for years a long time ago. It was always a treat when we’d run into one another. My love and prayers for the family because I know she’ll be greatly missed, but she knew Jesus and is living her best life with Him in heaven right this minute.
I’m so sorry for your loss sending the family my deepest condolences and prayers. She was such a beautiful soul inside and out. I will miss her so much.
