Mr. Evens was our Paw Paw Greeter at China Elementary for a number of years. He was always faithful, and we loved his sweet smile. He will be remembered fondly by the staff of China Elementary and our students and their families. He helped hundreds of children (and staff members) get a great start on Wednesday mornings! We send our prayers and condolences to Slade and the rest of the family.

I worked construction with Pat back in the mid 70’s . We became good friends and I learned a lot about the building trades from him. I remember he and Libby both were big Razorbacks fans. Our paths took different directions after 1976, but I never forget Pat and Libby. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Jdf
