Pattilyn Thea Perkins
Pattilyn Thea Perkins, 67, of Sour Lake, died Sunday, December 28, 2025. She was born on May 30, 1958, in Port Arthur to Nancy Truman Adamson and James Kenneth Scott, Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Eric Neil Perkins; her children, Trey Perkins and Brandon Scott Perkins; and half-sister, Kelly Scott Sunkle.
Patti was a graduate of French High School, class of 1976. In 1995, Patti enrolled at Lamar University and in the year 2000 graduated Magna Cum Laude with two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees, one in General Business and the other in Human Resource Management.
Patti was a devoted wife and mother who loved with all her heart and always had the prettiest smile. She was talented arts and crafter and loved making gifts. She loved our Lord, Jesus Christ, and fought her illness cheerfully with the knowledge of her final home. We thank all who lifted her up in prayer during her ordeal. It meant so much to her. Forever loved and adored, farewell my sweetness, we will be together again.
Pattilyn is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, James Kenneth Scott, Jr. and Joe David Scott.

A gathering of Mrs. Perkins’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Guedry Cemetery, Batson.

Neil and Family,
Patti will always be remembered as a gentle and courageous person whose sweet smile and giving spirit made the world seem softer and brighter. Her strength, grace, and quiet resilience followed her through her illness which inspired us all. She was such a blessing to so many who had the privilege of knowing her. Patti will be missed.
