Paul Ray Draper

February 4, 1957 - December 24, 2024

Paul Ray Draper, 67, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Paul was a family man that loved his four children and four grandchildren more than anything else in this world. Paul was born and raised in El Sobrante, California. He spent most of his adult life in the same house he was brought home from the hospital in, after being born. He relocated to Beaumont, Texas, in 2021, so he could live right next door to his grandbabies.

Paul was a man of many talents, from his knowledge of classic cars, to being able to fix or build anything. Paul retired from the Local Carpenters Union and opened up his own Locksmithing business. After a successful career as a Locksmith, he decided to retire fully and spend all his time with his family.

Paul was a church going man. While being in Texas, he attended faithfully to Grace Community Church Fannett every Sunday. He read his bible every morning over coffee and made sure to send his kids a message every night reminding them to, “say your prayers, kiss my grandbabies” and how much he loved them.

Survivors include his daughter, Courtney Black and her husband, Neil, of Benicia, California; son, Rowdy Draper and his wife, Cristine, of Beaumont; and daughters, Calista Draper and Victoria Draper, both of Vacaville, California and grandchildren, Austyn Black, DakotaLynn Draper, Lukas Draper, and SavannaLynn Draper.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Laura Lynn Draper.

Service for Paul will be held at a later time.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
