Paula Renee Goodson "Callaway"

March 12, 1961 - August 13, 2021

Paula Renee Goodson “Callaway”, 60, of Lumberton, passed away at 1:15 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2021, at Altus Lumberton Hospital. She was born on March 12, 1961, in Port Arthur, to Carrol and Stanley Callaway.

Paula enjoyed going to the beach and to the Texas Renaissance Festival. One of her favorite pastimes was going on vacations and camping with her family. Paula loved crafting and making wreaths. Also, some animals she adored most were giraffes, and elephants. Her favorite flower was the yellow rose.

Above anything else, she loved her grandchildren. She will be missed by all that loved her.

Paula is survived by her children, Wesley Collier, of Silsbee and Jared Bailey and his wife, Valerie, of Carthage; grandchildren, Addison Collier, Joslyn Bailey, Braxton Bailey, Robert Andrews, Ryan Andrews, and Lily Stoltzfus; father, Stanley Callaway, of Lumberton; siblings, Cobbie Callaway and his wife, Aletha, of Lumberton and Stanley Callaway, Jr., of Timpson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Goodson; mother, Carrol Callaway; daughter, Jamie Andrews; and grandparents.

A memorial service for Mrs. Goodson will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

Floral offerings are welcome, but for those wishing to make memorial contributions, may do so to the Paula Goodson Memorial Fund at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
