Peggy Jean Roberts

Peggy Jean Roberts, 69, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Mill Creek Senior Community, Silsbee. She was born September 25, 1952, in Goliad, to Emma Shephard Jakobeit.

Peggy is survived by her mother, Emma Jakobeit; daughters, Corvid Bliss of Soldotna, Alaska; Deanne Roberts of Lumberton; Heather Leal; granddaughter, Destiny LeBlanc and numerous grandchildren; brother, Larry Jakobeit and his wife, Flo, of Beaumont; sister, Sherry Gilbert of Vicksburg, Michigan; sister, Julia Knapp and her husband, Allen, of Navasota; and brother, David Michael Jakobeit and his wife, Jo, of Warren.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Bill Jakobeit.

A gathering of Mrs. Roberts’ family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
