Philip Gene Delamater

Philip Gene Delamater, 84, of Beaumont died Monday, December 29, 2025. He was born on June 15, 1941, in Six Lakes, Michigan, to Beulah May and Lyle Delamater.

Survivors include his children, Philip Delamater and his wife, Donna, of Vidor; Jeremy Delamater and his wife, Jennifer, of Colorado Springs; and Nathan Delamater and his wife, Tracy, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Philip, Benjamin, Noah, Thomas, Joshua and his wife, Esther, Peter, Eli, Amelia, Zachary, Olivia, Hannah, and Trevor; siblings, Gilbert Delamater, Janet Delamater, and Arnie Delamater; and numerous extended family and friends.

Philip is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Melda Gertrude Delamater; and sister, Susan Darling; and grandson, Ian Delamater.

A memorial service for Mr. Delamater will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church, 6220 Westgate Drive, Beaumont. The link to the live stream will be available closer to service time.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

    Sorry for your loss. Phil and I work together at BASF until we retired. He work in the Lab. and I work in the safety department. He was always very friendly and nice to anyone he meets, be it inside BASF or outside.

    Sorry for your loss, Phil lived Nextdoor to us for over 20 years. And what I remember is he loved to ride his bicycle every morning when I was leaving for work. Prayers to his family.
