Phyllis Ann Steelman
Phyllis Ann Steelman, 68 of Orange, Texas, died Saturday, December 21, 2024. She was born on February 9, 1956, in Orange, Texas, to Dolly and Reaux Frederick.
Survivors include her sisters, Mary Frederick of Coppell, Texas; Lisa Fontenot and husband, Craig, of Vinton, Louisiana; Sheila Douga and husband, Darty, of Sulphur, Louisiana; and Julie Berry of Apopka, Florida; brothers, Ricky Frederick and wife, Tina, of Vinton, Louisiana; Denis Frederick and wife, Tammy, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; John Frederick and wife, Marcia, of Bradenton Florida; Paul Frederick and wife, Loretta, of Orange, Texas; Thomas Frederick and wife, Wendy, of Vinton, Louisiana; and Damien Frederick and wife, Marsha, of Sulphur, Louisiana; and sister-in-law, Sherry Frederick of Pasadena, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Steelman; her parents; brothers, Robert Frederick, Roger Frederick, Jimmy Frederick, Gerald Frederick; and sister-in- law, Cherie.
A gathering Mrs. Steelman’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with a Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass following on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1502 Industrial Street, Vinton, Louisiana. Her burial will at Big Woods Cemetery.
Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.

I am going to miss her. We worked together in JC Mo. We stayed in touch by Phone. My Prayers for her Family. She was a Great Friend.
So very sorry to hear about Phylis’ passing. She was a lovely sweet soul who was always cheerful. I will pray for our Lord to welcome her into Heaven and for the comfort of the Holy Spirit for the family.
