Rachel Joy, Joy to me, was the person I wish I could say I was and am. She was my cousin that permitted me to tag along with her. When I was a teenager dating and didn’t want to go with mom and dad somewhere she and Jim let me stay with them and made sure I was home by curfew. I will miss her but my love and memories will last forever.
What a wonderful lady, who mothered 4 wonderful ladies. I know she will be missed so much on earth, but I can only imagine the joy in heaven when Mr. Jim got to see her again. May God comfort their girls and the rest of the family, as they grieve this earthly loss, and as they wait to be reunited in heaven one day.
Praying for you and your family. Love you dearly.
My condolences to your family in the loss of your dear mother. I am praying for your mom and the entire family.
I am so sorry for your loss. She was always so sweet and kind. I am thinking of you. I know there was a celebration in heaven when she entered thiose Pearly Gates.
Dearest Friends. I was so blessed to call Rachel my friend. We got to be close friends when she came to work with me in the Church Library. We laughed all the time as we watched folks shuffle for books. I knew what Rachel liked to read and I knew her favorite Hallmark Christmas Movie. I even ordered it for her to watch it at home when Christmas was long past. Amy, Joy, Kim, and Sue, I have “tasted this cup” having lost my Mother. Please be comforted in knowing Rachel has now seen the face of Jesus. “ I can only imagine,” to borrow those words from the song. Because of Jesus, Linda Thomas
Mrs Whitmeyer was such a sweet lady. She always made me feel welcome at their house. Prayers to the Whitmeyer girls and their families.
