Ramona Chadwick Orr

November 4, 1933 - January 5, 2022

Ramona Orr, 88, of Lumberton, Texas, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022.  She was born on November 4, 1933, in Long Branch, Texas, to Mildred Prycer Chadwick and William Chadwick.

Mrs. Orr graduated from Carthage High School, Carthage, Texas and was married to Stanley Orr for fifty-eight years.  She was a member of Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton, where she was on the Altar Society and the Bereavement Committee.  Mrs. Orr was also one of the founding members of the Cone and Tassel Garden Club in Lumberton.

Survivors include her children, Dwain Orr and his wife, Joan, of Nederland; Wes Orr and his wife, Tina, of Vidor; Chad Orr of Weatherford; and Alice Spencer and her husband, Ronnie, of Winnie; grandchildren, Ryan Orr and his wife, Tara, of Grapevine; Rebekah Hernandez and her husband, Henry, of Azle; Tait Orr and his wife, Sydney; Gage Orr; and Jackie Cockerham and her husband, Jason, all of Vidor; John Orr and his wife, Arielle, of Rowlett; Devin Spencer of Winnie; Natalie Spencer and her fiancé, Cody Cash, of Sour Lake; Darla Spencer and her husband, Andrew Norman, of Belgium; Aaron Sterling of Port Acres; and Raegan Sterling and his wife, Jennifer and Tessa Shuff and her husband, Stephen, all of Nederland; and sixteen great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley Orr; and siblings.

A gathering of Mrs. Orr’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Infant Jesus Building Fund, 243 South LHS Drive, Lumberton, Texas 77657.
