Raymond Douglas Kervin
Raymond Douglas Kervin, 87, of Lumberton, died Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1938, in Votaw, to Donia Collins Kervin and Arthur Kervin. Mr. Kervin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Kervin was a lay minister, he loved the Lord and shared the His word with everyone he met.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Kervin; sons, Robert Arthur Kervin and his forever girlfriend, Paula and Jonathan Douglas Kervin and his partner, Debra, all of Silsbee; grandchildren, Cailyn Dougherty and her husband, Joshua Dye, of The Woodlands, Daniel McCarty and his wife, Luisa, of Conroe; and Austin Morgan of Silsbee; and great-grandchildren, Annmarie McCarty, Nathaniel McCarty, Sebastian McCarty, and Skylar McCarty. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elberta, Marie, and Billie Jean; and brother, Wilburn.
A gathering of Mr. Kervin’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.

My father was very religious and a faithful Christian, Also a great dad and best friend,
I consider myself to be extremely lucky to have had him in my life.
