Raymond Virgil Smallwood, Jr.

Raymond Virgil Smallwood, Jr., 62, of Woodville, died Thursday, April 29, 2021.  He was born on April 14, 1959, in Kountze, to Raymond Virgil Smallwood, Sr. and Lydia Bragg Smallwood.

He worked in many capacities in the oilfield during his thirty plus year tenure, finishing as a tool pusher.  Mr. Smallwood enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his sisters, Louise Kinard of Woodville and Delores Gore and her husband, Robert, of Silsbee, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, William Travis Smallwood; sisters, Shirley Young, Margaret Hooks, and Doris Smallwood; and brother, James Smallwood.

Mr. Smallwood, Jr.’s graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 3, 2021, at Bean Cemetery, Kirbyville, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
