John and I met at the Iona School of Ministry and became good friends immediately. I saw him this past Fall at Camp Allen and we talked for a couple of hours. He was always a gracious man and became a very good priest. I will miss him and can only share that we were brothers by other Mothers, but the Marine Corps brought up together along with Jack at Iona. May he rest in peace, he has earned his wings! May the family know that they are in my prayers at this difficult time, and may God give them all peace and comfort.
