Richard Earl Broussard Sr.

Richard Earl Broussard Sr., 82, of Buna, died Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was born on February 17, 1940, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to Loney Doiron Broussard and Alton Joseph Broussard. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Buna Masonic Lodge #1095, A.F.&A.M.

Survivors include his children, Richard Broussard Jr. and his wife, Christina Smith, of Silsbee, and Melissa Jean Biscamp and her husband, Ashley, of Mount Enterprise; and grandchildren, Kennedi Biscamp and Reagan Biscamp. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Jean Bozarth Broussard; siblings, Donnie Broussard, Vivian Dorman, A.J. Broussard, Margaret Conway, and Louis Dugas.

A gathering of Mr. Broussard’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
