Richard’s Mom (Duck) & my Grandma (Edna) were sisters. When we were little Jimmy, Allen, Richard & I would walk the parking lot of Minimax picking up change to get a candy bar. The boys would let me chose which candy bc I would make sure I’d get something we could all share. Those were the days we thought they’d never end.
Nola and family I am so sad to hear this. Ive been in Dallas for the past 10 days and had no idea. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I think we can safely say there never has been and there never will be another Richard Wheeler! He will be sorely missed. ❤️🙏
My late husband, Melvin, spent many hours with Richard “Rich” and his brothers as a child. He loved them like his own brothers and I am sure they are happily together again. My prayers are with you all
