Richard Lee Ward

Richard Lee Ward, 66, of Sargent, died Tuesday July 8, 2025. He was born on January 26, 1959, in Anahuac, to Nita Broussard and Doil Ward.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Ward; children, Charles Miller (Cindy), Michele Miller (Khaled), and Bridgette Hammonds (Justin); grandchildren, Shelby, Trisha, Rachel, Charlee, Seif, Adam, Hosam, Zein, Keyleigh, Kent, and Kian; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Tommy, and C.J.; brother, James Ward; and sister, Donna Sumner.

He is preceded in death by his parents and great-grandchild, Fjord Hayes.

A graveside service for Mr. Ward will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday July 11, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery, 213 Fairview Cemetery Drive, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
