Richard Lewis Williams

Richard Lewis Williams, 73, of Winnie, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Christus Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth. He was born October 6, 1948, in Houston, to parents Ray C. Williams and Pauline Womack Dorrell.

Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Price; son, Richard Christopher Williams; stepson, Louis Joseph Shosty III; sisters, Mary Ann Klosterman, Sherry Duffy, and Heather McCarthy; siblings, Raymundo, Jr., Ireta, and Mercedes; and beloved grandchildren, William Shosty, Abrielle Price, Colton Price, Dylan Williams, Jaxon Williams, and Robin Williams.

He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as Troy W. Dorrell, Charles Louis Schaefer Sr, Pauline Hazel “Elaine” Smith; wife, Suellen “Susie” Humphries; his twin brother, Robert Frank Schaefer; brother, Jack David Owens.

A gathering of Mr. Williams’ family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
