Ricky Miller Hartman
Ricky Miller Hartman, 75, of Beaumont, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026. He was born June 1, 1950, in Houston, Texas, to Betty and Howard Hartman.
Rick was a man who truly loved life and the people around him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially cherished moments with his grandchildren and great-grandson.
He loved his country and was a proud supporter of President Trump. Rick was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and rarely missed an opportunity to watch a game. In his younger years, you could often find him at the bowling alley each week enjoying a good game with the league he joined. When he wasn’t at the bowling alley, he could be found on the little league field where he coached his sons and teammates in a good game of baseball. Later in life, he enjoyed playing golf, cooking barbecue, and hosting cookouts where family and friends could gather together.
Rick had a talent for fixing just about anything and was always the person others could count on in a time of need. Whether helping a friend, lending a hand to family, or sharing stories on his back porch in the evenings, he made time for the people who mattered most to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Chrissie Hartman; his children, Melissa McCollum and her husband of Katy, Jamie Lynn Talbert and her husband, Jamie, of Beaumont, Chad Hartman and his wife of Sour Lake, and Brett Hartman and his wife, Nikita, of Beaumont. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Trey Talbert, Jacie Talbert, Keema Hartman, June Hartman, and Ariella Hartman; his great-grandson, River Lee Talbert; along with extended family members and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shelia Collins.
Rick will be remembered for his kindness, his ready smile, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends. Though he is gone from our sight, his spirit will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the many lives he touched.
A gathering of Mr. Hartman’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.

To Chrissie and the family. Working at Sears Service and bowling I knew Rick as a good husband and father and a terrific bowler. And he also had a good sense of humor. My sincerest condolences to the family and especially Chrissie.
