I met Sis. Leverkuhn almost 45 years ago. Some of her children are my son’s ages. We celebrated birthdays for our kids and always had a blast.
We also did quilting together the old fashion way using a quilting frame and did it by hand. I enjoyed our visits together.
She sat in front of me in church. I always missed her when she was gone. When she was able to come to church I always gave her a hug. I will miss her dearly. I know the children will miss Mawmaws candy.
I will see you again when we meet in heaven.
    Love you

Sister Leverkuhn was a wonderful mother and saint of God! She was always very sweet and kind. She made you feel so welcome that you felt like part of the family. She is a great example of perseverance through the rigors of life. What a precious lady that I was privileged to know for many years – since I was a young man. I am saddened to see her go, but joyful that she has entered into the rest of the Lord and her reward! Our prayers are with the family and her church. May God bless and comfort you during this time of loss!
