Robert Blanchette

Robert Blanchette, 76, of Beaumont, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Christus Southeast Texas Hospital – St. Elizabeth. He was born September 26, 1945, in Bath, England, to Irene Rose Davidge Blanchette and Frank Robert Blanchette. He was a United States Army veteran.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Dawn Renee Blanchette of Beaumont; son, Robert Paul Blanchette of Beaumont; daughter, Carol Lynn Blanchette of Beaumont; son, Mark Ahlman of Houston; daughter, Tammy Normand and her husband, Todd, of Beaumont; sister, Donna Jean Hamilton and her husband, Kirk, of Florida; Sister, JoAnn Blanchette of China; brother, Frank Blanchette and his wife, Dorris, of Beaumont; sister, Faye Marie Willis and her husband, Raymond, of Austin; grandchildren, Camron Gutierrez and his significant other, K.J., of Beaumont; Chelsie Ferris and her husband, Zakk, of China; Timothy O’Brien, Jr. of Great Lakes, Illinois; Zachary Blanchette and his significant other, Grace, of Beaumont; Mackenzi Ahlman of Canyon Lake; Rand Ahlman of Canyon Lake; great-grandchildren, Danielle Ferris of China; Olivia Blanchette of Lumberton; Donovan Blanchette of Lumberton; and Kamryn Gutierrez of Beaumont.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Earline Mae Blanchette; brothers, Donald Gene Blanchette, Albert Blanchette; and grandson, Nicholas Blanchette.

There will be a gathering of Robert’s family and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021, at Broussard’s, Beaumont with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

    I worked with Robert thru the Homebuilders Association some years ago. He was a real nice guy who volunteered where needed and never said no. He always had a smile. I pray for his families loss.
