Robert “Bobby” Light
Robert “Bobby” Light, 74, of Beaumont, died Sunday, March 23, 2025. He was born on November 12, 1950, in Beaumont, TX to Florene Ray and Jack T. Light. He was a graduate of South Park High School class of 1969, and a retired member of Pipe Fitters Local 211. He was married to Helen, the love of his life, for over 40 years. He was also a devoted Father and PawPaw. Full of life and laughter he will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his children, Christene Galloway of Beaumont; Marcy Norman and her husband, Michael, of Fannett; and Brittny Livermore and her husband, Cody, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jackson T. Norman, Sawyer Livermore, and Gracie Livermore; siblings, Jackie Wilkins and Teddy Light.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Light; and granddaughter, Lindsey Galloway.
A gathering of Mr. Light’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2025, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.

My Deepest condolences to the Family. I thought the world of Bobby. I will surely miss him. It was a genuine pleasure to work with him. Best ever.
I did not know Bobby well, but I do remember him from South Park. My condolences to his family. Another Greenie gone home.
We have known Bobby for many years, as his sister and I have been best friends since the first grade.. We are sending love and prayers to all his family.. rest in peace May God welcome you in Heaven
