Robert “Buddy”Frazier III

November 5, 1954 - March 18, 2023

Robert Edward Frazier III, 68 of Beaumont passed away at his residence on March 18, 2023. He was born November 5, 1954, to the late Robert Edward Frazier Jr., and Doris Juanita Frazier in Beaumont, Texas.

As a lifelong resident of Beaumont, Buddy graduated from Forest Park High School and attended Lamar University. He was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega organization. He was employed by and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Buddy was known and loved as a jovial, warm hearted, and devoted athlete in his younger years.  The joys of his life were friends, family, and hunting.

Buddy is survived by his mother, Doris (Johnnie) Mayo Frazier; daughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Frazier; son, Chris Frazier; sister, Elizabeth Frazier Accardo and her husband, Sam Accardo; nieces, Stephanie Blanchette, Mallory Blanchette Ewing, and Katie Frazier; and many great nieces and nephews who brought much joy and laughter to his life.

Buddy is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lee Frazier.

Now in God’s hands, Buddy will always be loved and remembered by his family and friends.

A gathering of Mr. Frazier’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. There will be a private family committal at a later date.

    Going to miss you Buddy. We’ve been friends for a very long time. Everyone remembers how our football coaches (McKee and his meat grinders) did everything they could to break that friendship but they didn’t realize that was not possible.
