Robert (Bobby) Doyle Havard
Robert (Bobby) Doyle Havard, of Beaumont, Texas, was received into the arms of his Heavenly Father on October 20, 2021. He transitioned from this world under the guiding light of the first Full Moon of October, which held special significance for Bobby as a time when many treasured memories were made with family and friends during annual gatherings by the lakes and rivers that were his sanctuary.
Now, during this special time of year he cherished so much, it is only fitting that Bobby has moved forth into the Holiest of Sanctuaries, one that will provide the well-earned and everlasting Peace and Serenity he so deserves.
Bobby and LaDonna were married for 42 years – he was a very loving & faithful husband – he was her “Honey” and absolutely LOVED to spoil her.
Besides being a devoted family man, Bobby was a steadfast friend, a hard-working and God-fearing Christian as well as a humble hero to so many people – all of whom will carry the decency, compassion and love he shared – as he lives on forever in their hearts.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Merle Havard and his beloved Uncle Billy.
He is survived by his loving wife, LaDonna, and his children – Greg Havard, Ginger (& husband Tim) Logan, Jesse (& fiancé Cassandra) Havard and Jamie Havard. He also leaves behind his brother, Marion (& wife Tonie) Havard and his grandchildren, Fairen Childs and Andrew Havard. As well as his mother-in-law, Evonne, several brother & sister in-laws, many cherished nieces & nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews, cousins and numerous friends – all of whom will miss him tremendously but will honor and cherish his memory dearly.
A memorial service for Mr. Havard will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church, 6220 Westgate, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.

So saddened to hear this. My late husband, Jim McGrew, often told stories of him and Bobby. They are both in heaven now,acting up!!!

A very good friend, but more like a brother to me. We made a lot of memories, along with his family. He liked to hear pickin & singin & I loved to pick & try to sing. One night on Steinhagen lake he was in the back of the boat running a trotline & I was in the front picking a flat top. Sounds like him, huh? And we caught a 30 lb op off the line. Sorry I couldn`t be @ the memorial. Love you all

Please allow me to express my condolences to the Havard family. I worked with Bobby for several years at Gulf States Utilities and at one point was his supervisor. A pleasure to know and work with, on one occastion he invited me to share Thanksgiving with him and his family, an occasion I still cherish. Please know that Bobby is loved and will be remembered by many. May he rest in peace, and may The Comforter visit you, his family, so that you have peace and comfort in this time of sorrow. Jesse I so sorry to here about Bobby.I worked and knew Bobby about 50 years at Gulf States / Entergy ,we had a lot of good times when Beaumont Sub and Beaumont Relay worked together ,Bobby had a lot of friends at work and they all send their condolences to you and family.Jesse I know we worked together a little while ,I know I told you some stories about your Dad,Bobby was always a pleasure to be around.
