Robert Edward Allison
Robert Edward Allison, Sr., 71, of Silsbee, Texas and formerly of Chesterfield, Virginia, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023. He was born on May 11, 1951, in Leonardtown, Maryland, to Helen Cathrine Martin Allison and Earl Joseph Allison. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and later worked as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Allison; children, Robert Allison, Jr. and his wife, April, of Chesterfield, Virginia; and Timothy Allison and Melissa Allison, both of Amelia, Virginia; stepdaughter, Bonnie Moon of Silsbee, Texas; grandchildren, Kelsey Allison, Emily Allison, Haley Cofer, Carter Allison, Tanner Allison, Destiny Pugh, Desiree Pugh, Hunter Kantzler, and Jase Gray; great-grandson, Hudson Lindsey; siblings, Kathy Ruble, Ronnie Allison, Karen McGee, Mary Jane Marks, and Joseph Allison. He is preceded in death by his parents.
His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
