Robert Hamm

December 13, 1938 - October 28, 2022

Robert Hamm, 83, of Sour Lake, died Friday, October 28, 2022. He was born December 13, 1938, in Beaumont. Robert enjoyed going to the beach. He was a University of Texas Longhorns fan (he bled burnt orange) and enjoyed going to home games with friends.

Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Hamm; son, Robert E. Hamm II, of Bridge City; daughter, Kimberly Comley of Woodville; grandchildren, Zackery Dixon, Jordan Gaudet, Jeremy Comley, Alexandra Comley, Eathan Hamm, Logan Hamm; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Marvin Hamm and his wife, Jan, of Tyler.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. and Mildred Hamm; brother, Clayton Hamm; and son, Nathan “Tiger” Miller, Jr.

A gathering of Mr. Hamm’s family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
