Robert Paul Husarek

Robert Paul Husarek, 95, of Beaumont, died on August 30, 2021 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. He was born to Adolph and Helene Andler Husarek on September 4, 1925, in Buffalo, New York. Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.

He is survived by his wife of seventy-three years, Betty Husarek of Beaumont; daughter, Lynn Pileggi and her husband, Arnold, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Adam Pileggi and his wife, Stephanie, of East Bonnie Lake, Washington; Andrew Pileggi, of Beaumont; Aaron Pileggi and his wife, Tricia, of Sugar Hill, Georgia; and Wendy Patrick of Sharpsburg, Georgia; great-grandchildren Nathan Pileggi, Isabella Pileggi, Duke Pileggi, Owen Pileggi, Zane Pileggi, Jett Pileggi, Donovan Blevins, and Benjamin Blevins; nieces Kathy Keffer and her husband, Bud, and Dale Nichols and her husband, Greg; great niece Michele Bermudez and her husband, Chris; great-great nieces Lana Bermudez, Quinn Bermudez, and Nina Bermudez; a host of other nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Tom Davies and his wife, Sharon.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Fred and Wesley Husarek; sisters, Lillian Griebner, Alice Fenton, and Dorothy Maier; and granddaughter Tammy Aborn.

A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
