Rodger Dale Manuel II
Rodger Dale Manuel II, 41, of Winnie, died Monday, September 6, 2021, at Christus Southeast Texas – St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born in Beaumont, on September 27, 1979, to Linda Sonnier and Rodger Dale Manuel, Sr.
He enjoyed fishing, hog hunting, and caring for and loving his animals. He worked for Balfour Beatty Railroad for over fifteen years, performing maintenance. He will especially be missed by his faithful canine companions.
Rodger is survived by his wife, Tina Gilbert; daughters, Leanne Manuel of Lumberton and Josie Kurtz of Clovis, California; sons, Gauge and Bobby Manuel, of Vidor; grandson, Greyson Petty; mother and step-father, Linda and Wesley Weekly of Winnie; father and stepmother, Rodger and Carla Manuel, of Winnie; sisters, Velma Rutherford of Crystal Beach; Sumer Manuel, of Winnie; and Amanda Hebert and her husband, Chris, of Nederland; and Sarah Weekly, of La Belle; brother, Wes Weekly of Winnie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his bothers, Bon Bernard Manuel, Kent Anthony Manuel McLaurin; grandparents, Matthew and Mable Sonnier; and Bon and Gladys Manuel.
Cremation arrangements for Rodger will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
