A true outdoorsman at heart, Romaine found joy in the stillness of nature, spending countless early mornings duck hunting and quiet afternoons in deer stands. He loved to travel, sharing adventures with Bonnie and their loved ones, often with the sounds of Cajun music filling the air and his feet tapping in time to the rhythm of his heritage.

His Catholic faith remained a guiding light throughout his life. He was a dedicated member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and the JOY group, where he cherished the fellowship and spiritual connection shared with his church family.
