Ronald Clyde Brown

Ronald Clyde Brown, 89, of Sour Lake, died Monday, January 17, 2022.  He was born on August 29, 1932, in Brownsville, to Anna Mason Brown and Ortis Clyde Brown.  Mr. Brown proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korea Conflict.

Ronald worked at Transco Pipeline for over forty plus years. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, watching car racing, and loved traveling the United States. Ronald loved his family more than anything else. He will be missed tremendously by all.Survivors include his children, Tina Russell and her husband, Henry, of Houston; Ronald C. Brown, II and his wife, Kimmie, of Kountze; Robert Brown and his wife, Julie, of Houston; and Rex Brown and his wife, Lisa; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leonard Crisci of Crosby; and one niece.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nelva Brown; and sister, Patricia Crisci.

A gathering of Mr. Brown’s family and friends will begin at 1:00p.m., with his service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His interment will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Kountze.  Please observe social distancing guidelines.
