Ronald Dale Benoit, Sr.

Ronald Dale Benoit, Sr., 62, of Vidor, died Friday, February 19, 2010.   He was born October 6, 1947, to Lillian Fruge and Dorestine Benoit, in Church Point, Louisiana. He was a chemical operator for Texaco Chemical.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Benoit of Vidor; mother, Lillian Benoit of Vidor; sons, Ronald Dale Benoit, Jr. of Lumberton, Joseph E. Benoit, Josh Benoit, Austin Benoit, and Jason Benoit all of Vidor; daughters, Andrea Granger and her husband Matt, Baisa Benoit, Brittany Benoit and Skyla Benoit all of Vidor; grandchildren, K.D. Benoit of Beaumont, Ronald Dale “Trey” Benoit III and Alexis Benoit both of Sour Lake and Jacie Mathews of Vidor; sisters, Patsy Guidry of Duson, Louisiana and Priscilla Crain of Port Arthur; and numerous other loving family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dorestine Benoit.

A gathering of his family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Broussard’s. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with his internment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
